The Galaxy Watch 7 launched in July 2024 in 40 mm and 44 mm, with the Exynos W1000 chip that made it markedly quicker than the Watch 6. It is the last of the fully round mainline Galaxy Watches, before the Watch 8 moved to a cushion-shaped case.
It did not ship ready: the Watch 7 launched on One UI 6 Watch. Samsung updated it to One UI 8 Watch in October 2025, which is the release these faces need. A Watch 7 that has taken any update since then can install them; one that has not, cannot — and that is a free update, not a new watch.
